素有「年輕人流行指標」的青少年票選獎（Teen Choice Awards）入圍名單於今日公佈！在音樂項目中，怪物級新人 Lil Nas X 以 5 項提名成為最大贏家，緊追在後的為入圍 4 項的巨星馬龍（Post Malone），第三名則由凱利德（Khalid）、泰勒絲（Taylor Swift）、海爾希（Halsey）和凱蒂佩芮（Katy Perry）4 人共同稱霸，堪稱新生代歌手的主戰場，到底誰能獲得青少年的青睞，成為新一代流行指標呢！
Lil Nas X 除了本身入圍「最佳男歌手獎」和「最佳突破新人獎」外，告示牌11週冠軍單曲〈Old Town Road〉更是一舉入圍「最佳男歌手歌曲獎」、「最佳節奏藍調/嘻哈歌曲獎」和「最佳合作歌曲獎」，這首從小孩到大人都在聽的超夯單曲，勢必會在頒獎典禮上大放異彩，粉絲們也很期待 Lil Nas X 與比利瑞賽洛斯（Bill Ray Cyrus）能夠在這場屬於年輕人的音樂盛會合體演唱。
巨星馬龍的人氣同樣不容小覷，每每發行新單曲必定衝上告示牌 Top 10 的他，這次入圍「最佳男歌手獎」和「最佳節奏藍調/嘻哈歌手獎」，並以單曲〈Wow.〉提名「最佳男歌手歌曲獎」和「最佳節奏藍調/嘻哈歌曲獎」，將與 Lil Nas X 硬碰硬，來場新生代的人氣對決。
凱蒂佩芮雖然在歌手類別並未獲得提名，卻以三首不同歌曲角逐獎項，也算是另類的競爭手法。最新主打〈Never Really Over〉入圍「最佳女歌手歌曲獎」，與捷德（Zedd）合作的〈365〉入圍「最佳電音/舞曲獎」，而與洋基老爹（Daddy Yankee）對唱的超夯曲〈Con Calma〉則是入圍「最佳拉丁歌曲獎」，看來這次天后回歸受到年輕人肯定，若能在頒獎典禮上拿下這 3 項大獎，想必會讓凱蒂佩芮的聲勢再度攀上頂峰。
