繼在今年 2 月 Lil Yachty 釋出與 Kodak Black 合作的單曲《 Hit bout it 》 MV，Lil Yachty 無預警地又推出新作品啦！這首十分重低音且 drill 的《 Cortex 》取樣於 Cortex 的《 Huit Octobre 1971 》，同取樣於其的歌曲如 2004 年 MF DOOM 的著名歌曲《 One Beer 》、 2010 年 Wiz Khalifa 的 《 Visions 》及 2009 年 Tyler, the Creator 的《 Odd Toddlers 》。
Lil Yatchy 在 MV 資訊欄中寫著「我現在正著手於 5 到 6 個計畫，我保證我今年將會給你們他媽多的作品」，看來真的可以好好期待 Yatchy 接下來的作品了！
