Nicki Minaj 的全新大碟《Queen》各位都聽過了嗎？Nicki Minaj 可說是在這張專輯使出了渾身解數，不僅一口氣發布 19 首新曲目，更找來 Eminem、Lil Wayne、Ariana Grande、The Weeknd、Swae Lee 和 Future 等重量級人物助陣。不過《Queen》發布後可說是不如她預期，在 Billboard 200 排行榜上，依然輸給了 Travis Scott 的《ASTROWORLD》，而這也讓 Nicki Minaj 在 twitter 發布了些「半諷刺半宣洩」的貼文：

I looked at the numbers the Carters, Kanye, Nas, etc recently did. Travis sold 200K in his first week of clothes alone. I spoke to him last night & he said he’s been selling clothes b4 the music. Billboard says they’ll change the rules cuz of this, so it should be changed now!

從上述貼文能夠看到 Nicki Minaj 認為 Travis Scott 的新專輯僅靠著 Kylie Jenner Po 出一張海報的貼文便銷售出了大量專輯周邊和大量曝光。另外也質疑 Spotify 大量宣傳 Drake 的作品而沒有對其（《Queen》）這麼做。
但 Nicki Minaj 後來也表示這些言論都是諷刺的「玩笑」，並提到自己還準備了一首 Freestyle 準備推出，沒意外的話應與上述這些事件逃不了關係，有興趣的人不妨密切留意。
